Summer Parks Program

The Summer Parks Program is designed for children aged 6-12 and offers a variety of engaging activities throughout the week. The program offers a diverse array of activities, including park games, art and mindfulness activities, community service and engagement trips, swimming at the city pool, bowling at Jr.'s Country Lanes, a Carnival Day, and participation in the Fulton County Public Library Summer Reading Program.

Park Days are scheduled on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 7:45 AM to 12:15 PM at Rochester City Park. Library Day takes place every Wednesday from 7:45 AM to 12:15 PM, with activities held at both Rochester City Parks and the Fulton County Public Library. In case of rain, a Rain Day Agenda is in place, which can occur on any weekday (Monday through Friday) from 7:45 AM to 12:15 PM at Rochester High School or Rochester City Park.

During the last week of June, the program features a Community Day on Friday. On this day, children will visit various locations, including Woodlawn Hospital and Community Butterfly Garden, Rochester City Park, Prairie Edge Fulton County Park, County Lanes, and the City Pool.

The program culminates in a special event called Parkival, held on the last Friday of June from 7:45 AM to 12:15 PM, providing a fun and memorable conclusion to the summer activities.
